Credit Evaluator Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluates loan applications based on available data, ensuring accuracy of information through deduplication and verification processes.
  • Reviews the borrower’s 5Cs of credit (character, capacity, capital, conditions, and collateral) to assess creditworthiness.
  • Gathers and analyzes information from client-submitted documents, interviews, bank checks, trade and reference checks, industry evaluations, and credit investigation reports.
  • Presents evaluation results and recommendations to the appropriate approving authority for further review and decision-making.

Basic Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Marketing Management, Commerce, Finance, Banking, or a related field
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in the banking industry, leasing/financing Institutions or similar role involving credit evaluation
  • Strong knowledge of credit processes, monitoring and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
